Individual Who Insulted Russian Woman in Yerevan Arrested, Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports

On September 11, a foreign citizen filed a complaint with the Central Division of the Community Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The individual reported that a young man had argued with him on Isahakyan Street in the capital and had hurled insults.

A criminal case has been initiated on grounds of hooliganism by the investigative division of the Kentron and Norq-Mardazn administrative districts.

As a result of actions taken by officers from the Central and Dilijan divisions of the Community Police, it was determined that the aforementioned act was committed by a 32-year-old resident of Dilijan City.

On September 16, the young man was arrested and presented to the investigative body. The circumstances are being clarified.
