Earthquake in Turkey

A 4.9 magnitude earthquake was registered in Turkey's Balıkesir province. This was reported on Sunday by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) of Turkey, as conveyed by RIA Novosti.

The earthquake occurred at 13:35 Yerevan time, with its epicenter located near the city of Sindirgi in Balıkesir province and at a depth of 7.7 kilometers, announced the agency's seismologists.
