U.S. Approves Coin Design Featuring Trump
The federal agency has announced that the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts has approved the release of a commemorative coin featuring President Donald Trump.
According to the publication, the commission, whose members were personally appointed by Trump, unanimously voted in favor of the design for a 24-karat gold coin.
It is noted that the obverse of the coin will depict the current President of the United States, leaning on the desk in the Oval Office with clenched fists.
In October 2025, it was reported that the U.S. Treasury Department was discussing the issuance of new collector coins featuring Trump's image. This initiative is planned to coincide with the 250th anniversary celebrations of the founding of the United States.
The coin is expected to portray the current President with a raised fist against the backdrop of the American flag. This image references a widely known photograph taken after the assassination attempt against him in 2024.
