Qatar Demands Apology from Israel for Attack on Doha
Qatar has demanded that Israel apologize for the attack on Doha in order to return to mediating the Gaza ceasefire negotiations. According to Israeli Channel 12, Qatari authorities have outlined several conditions, including compensation for the family of a security worker who was killed during the Israeli strikes and a commitment to not violate Qatar's sovereignty in the future.
Sources indicate that these conditions were conveyed to Israel's Minister of Strategic Affairs, Ron Dermer, through Trump's special envoy, Fryktov. It is also reported that Fryktov is scheduled to meet with Qatari Prime Minister al-Thani today to discuss efforts to resolve the crisis between Israel and Qatar with the aim of resuming negotiations.
