Ara Nranian's Powers as Member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission Terminated by Speaker of Parliament's Decision
The Speaker of the National Assembly has signed a memorandum terminating the powers of Ara Nranian as a member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia.
"Based on the resignation application of Ara Nranian, a member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia, and guided by point 2 of part 2 of Article 147 of the constitutional law on the regulation of the National Assembly, Ara Nranian's powers, which he assumed by the decision No. AJO-19-A of October 5, 2021, are considered terminated as of September 12, 2025," reads the memorandum signed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian.
It should be noted that the issue of electing a new member of the Public Services Regulatory Commission was on the agenda of the National Assembly session that began on September 8. The "Armenia" and "I Have Honor" factions had nominated Ara Nranian as a candidate for the commission; he had been a member since 2021.
