Details on the Construction of the Metro's 'Ajapnyak' Station

All the necessary examinations have been passed for the project of the metro's 'Ajapnyak' station. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, who noted that the competition will be announced in three lots, and all major companies will be informed about it.

“We have divided it into three phases: the construction of the tunnel section from the 'Barekamutyun' metro station to the gorge, the bridge construction, and from the bridge to the station and the station itself,” said Avinyan.

He emphasized that construction work on the 'Ajapnyak' station could start in 2026, adding, “After the construction of the metro station, the increase in passenger flow will be about 25%.”
