Dispute Between 24-Year-Old Man and 33-Year-Old Woman in Goris Ends in Stabbing
On June 14, at 19:45, the National Police of Armenia received a report from the Goris Medical Center regarding a 33-year-old woman who was transferred to the hospital with stab wounds to the abdomen and chest. The woman indicated that she remembered nothing about the circumstances of her injuries.
Through operatives' investigative measures taken by the Goris police department, it was determined that the woman had been arguing with a 24-year-old man from Goris in her kitchen, during which he had stabbed her with a sharp object, causing bodily harm.
Thanks to the explanatory work carried out by investigators, the young man presented himself to the Goris police station on June 16, admitting that he had inflicted knife wounds on his 33-year-old partner using a kitchen knife. The young man has since been presented to the preliminary investigation body.
