Explosion of Munitions at Military Training Ground in Czech Republic; Injuries Reported

The Czech army has reported an explosion of munitions in the eastern part of the country. The incident occurred at the Libavá military training area, resulting in injuries.

“We are dealing with a serious incident at the Libavá training ground, where munitions of an as-yet-unknown type have exploded. Unfortunately, there are injuries on site,” the Czech army reported on X (formerly Twitter).

The message added that a rescue helicopter has been dispatched to the scene. The military police are investigating the incident.
