Member of Parliament Taguhi Tovmasyan wrote on her Facebook page: "In the past week, the criminal chronicle has dominated with the active participation of the ruling Civil Contract party. On September 8, Civil Contract MP Artur Hovhannisyan used extremely unacceptable rhetoric and behaved in a hooligan manner towards his opposition, a female MP. The Civil Contract leadership remains silent.

On September 12, the National Police received a report regarding the beating of Hakob Karapetyan by a masked individual. Hakob Karapetyan was the press secretary of Yerevan's former mayor, Hayk Marutyan, who, although using unacceptable language, criticized inspectors from the Yerevan city hall for unjustly fining a citizen on a bus. The Civil Contract leadership remains silent.

On September 14, around noon, it became known that under the direction of the head of the Cadastre Committee, Suren Tovmasyan, a citizen was kidnapped, taken away, and beaten. The victim's wife reported it. I am looking at the footage from the Civil Contract leadership meeting. Don't you have anything to say? How long will you remain silent? Your surroundings have become a group of actors providing a criminal chronicle. Was this the revolution you fought for, to belittle, kidnap, and beat people? All actors must be punished, severely and soberly," wrote Tovmasyan.
