Illegal Extraction of Tuff Discovered

An illegal extraction of tuff has been discovered in the Armavir region. This was reported by the Bureau of Environmental and Technical Monitoring (BETM).

As a result of operational measures taken by the National Security Service of Armenia, the Investigative Committee, and the Environmental and Mining Inspection Agency, it was revealed that "Farto Shin" LLC conducted illegal removal of tuff rock masses outside the permitted extraction area in the administrative territory of the Baghramyan community.

According to measurement results, 4,222 cubic meters of tuff were illegally removed from an area of 2,757 square meters. A report regarding the apparent crime has been submitted to the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
