Public Dispute Erupts Between Prime Ministers of Sweden and Hungary
A public dispute has erupted on social media between the Prime Ministers of Sweden and Hungary, after Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán claimed in a German publication that 280 minor Swedish girls have been arrested for murder.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson publicly denied his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orbán's statement posted on social media platform X, alleging that Swedish groups exploit minor girls and force them to become murderers.
Orbán shared a video referencing a report in the German newspaper Die Welt, which asserts that Swedish groups recruit teenage girls to commit violent crimes, particularly murder or bombings. Orbán wrote, “The Swedish government preaches about the rule of law while, according to Die Welt, criminal groups are using Swedish children as murderers knowing that the system will not condemn them. A country once known for its order and safety is now crumbling; more than 280 minor girls have been arrested for murder, and families live in fear. The Swedish people deserve better.”
In response, Ulf Kristersson stated on X, “That is a lie,” adding, “It is not surprising that this comes from a man who is destroying the rule of law in his own country. Orbán is desperate ahead of the upcoming elections in Hungary.”
Earlier, it was reported that the President of Finland and the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom exchanged mutual insults publicly.
