Europe Does Not Want to Fight Against Russia: Sikorski

The Foreign Minister of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, stated that Europe does not wish to engage in a conflict against Russia. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication 'STRANA.ua'.

He noted that providing security guarantees to Ukraine implies that Europe is prepared to enter into war with Russia.

“I don’t think it’s convincing, nor is there confidence in it. Anyone who wants to fight against Russia can start right now. But I see no one who is ready,” Sikorski emphasized.

Previously, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk had mentioned that pro-Russian sentiments and hostility towards Ukraine are on the rise in the country. He called for “attenuating this current and not going with its flow.”
