Shots Fired Near a Gas Station in Armavir Region

Shots were fired today in the Armavir region. The Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received operational information that shots were fired near a gas station at the left side of the Yerevan-Armavir highway at the beginning of the city of Vagharshapat.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, two bullet casings from different types of pistols and blood-like traces were found at the scene. According to operational information, there is a wounded individual, and police and investigators are currently determining whether the injured party sought medical assistance at a hospital or is receiving treatment at home.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Vagharshapat Investigation Division regarding the incident, and the police and the investigation department are taking necessary measures to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify those who fired the shots, recover the firearms used in the crime, and determine the identity of the injured party as well.
