Truck Leaves Road and Overturns in Ditch

On January 10, at 16:42, a call was received at the Crisis Management Center of the Ararat regional rescue service regarding a traffic accident at the Tigranashen bends, with casualties requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations’ regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a truck branded 'XCMG' had exited the roadway and overturned into a ditch at the 79th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri highway.

Before rescuers arrived, two injured individuals were extricated from the truck by local forces. Rescuers cut off the truck's power supply, maintained duty on-site, and assisted the victims into an ambulance. They were subsequently hospitalized in a medical center.
