Erdogan Called This Morning and Decided to Remove the Image of Ararat, Khachatryan
Arthur Khachatryan, a member of the 'Hayastan' faction in the National Assembly, made a statement regarding the significant news circulating in the media today about the Armenian government's new decision to remove the image of Mount Ararat from the entry or exit border stamps starting November 1, 2025.
"The independent and sovereign authorities of Armenia have decided to remove the image of Ararat from the border crossing stamps. Probably, this was the price for Kilicdaroglu’s arrival. Or Erdogan called this morning and decided, just like that, to inject another dose of humiliation. Just imagine what more serious 'concessions' they will demand from Nikol for a greater 'compromise.' For instance, to praise Nikol before the elections and to scare the people with opposition and war in line with Nikol's agenda. As long as Nikol is around, humiliation and defeat will be omnipresent over our heads," Khachatryan wrote.
