Danish Government to Allow Ukraine to Build Missile Fuel Plant
The Danish government will permit a Ukrainian company to construct a facility for solid rocket fuel components intended for Ukraine's most powerful missiles, bypassing laws and regulations, as reported today by Danish broadcaster DR.
The government plans are reflected in a draft executive order sent by Denmark's business authority for consultation, DR clarifies.
According to the order, a fast-track process has been established to allow the Ukrainian arms factory to commence production in Denmark as soon as possible. The Ukrainian weapons company aims to begin operations by December 1.
The plant will be located near the Skrydstrup airbase, where Denmark's F-35 fighter jets are stationed.
In a written response to broadcaster DR, Denmark's business administration stated that the rapid deployment of the Skrydstrup factory necessitates an exemption from certain regulations. Since this is an executive order, there is no legal commentary regarding the specific regulations from which exemptions are being made.
