President of Artsakh Sends Message to Nikol Pashinyan

President of the Republic of Artsakh Araik Harutyunyan has sent a message to the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of the recently held extraordinary parliamentary elections. The message states:

“Dear Mr. Pashinyan, the logical resolution of the political instability in the Republic of Armenia following the 44-day military aggression by Azerbaijan and Turkey was the holding of extraordinary elections. I am pleased that the state bodies and the people of the Republic of Armenia managed to organize democratic elections despite numerous external and internal challenges and difficulties. Taking into account the preliminary results of the elections, I wish you and your team success in realizing the trust received from the majority of voters. I hope that the results of the elections will provide the authorities of the Republic of Armenia the opportunity to strengthen the security and foreign policy positions undermined by the war, restore public consensus on national issues, and carry out persistent and effective work in the direction of protecting the rights of the Artsakh Armenians, eliminating the consequences of the war, and securing the international recognition of the Republic of Artsakh.

I also wish success to other political forces that have gained certain public trust. I am convinced that every vote received should serve the national interests and aspirations in a stable, constructive, and respectful political environment. The consequences of the war and the existing challenges leave us no choice but to face them and collectively make the Republics of Artsakh and Armenia a safer and more prosperous homeland for our people, for the sake of our future generations and the perpetuity of the Armenian Homeland.”
