Some Countries Spend $4 Billion to Destabilize Serbia
Special services from several countries are funding protests in Serbia, with a total expenditure of $4 billion. This was stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.
“The main organizer of the color revolutions comes from abroad. They are employees of various special services, and they are doing this from several countries,” Vučić said in an interview with TV Informer.
He clarified that he must maintain silence on the matter, as it would violate Serbia’s neutrality regarding potential sponsors of the protests, but noted, “Those countries know that we are aware of what they are doing.”
Vučić had previously reported that on September 5, a total of 9,380 people participated in the nationwide protests, with more than 7,000 gathering in Novi Sad. According to him, the most serious incidents occurred there. In Bačka Palanka, a group of individuals attempted to occupy the premises of the local university's Faculty of Philosophy, but police prevented this attempt.
Serbia's National Assembly President Ana Brnabić commented on the events, stating that European officials not only support but also personally participate in uncoordinated actions. She specifically highlighted the presence of Danish MEP Rasmus Nordkvist and Greek co-chair of the European Greens party Vula Tsitsi in Novi Sad, considering it hypocrisy to support anarchic actions in Serbia while claiming to uphold the rule of law.
