New Sanctions Against Countries Contravening U.S. National Security Interests
The U.S. Department of commerce has announced that sanctions will be imposed on companies from Russia, Turkey, India, Iran, Pakistan, China, Belarus, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UAE, effective September 16.
According to the department's report, the activities of these companies are at odds with U.S. national security interests. It is noted that the sanctioned companies have supplied goods to Russia's military-industrial sector and have sent supplies to the United States without the necessary permissions.
