Interior Minister Discusses 'Trump's Path' Project with U.S. Representative
On September 12, Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan received a delegation led by Brendan Henrehan, head of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
Minister Sargsyan emphasized the significance of the preliminary signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, facilitated by the United States, highlighting the important role of the U.S. in establishing peace. The signing of three memoranda of understanding between Armenia and the U.S. was also highly appreciated, which opens new opportunities for cooperation for Armenia.
Arpine Sargsyan also addressed the effective bilateral cooperation, particularly emphasizing the fight against organized crime, cybercrime, and illegal migration, and underscored the importance of support for police reforms. In this context, discussions regarding the establishment of a cyber laboratory were also highlighted.
The parties also discussed issues related to the 'Trump's Path for International Peace and Prosperity' (TRIPP) project presented on the principles of maintaining Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
