Iran Reveals Objectives of Action Against Israel

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, has stated that the objective of the recent action was the information center located at the Israel-Syria border and the Israeli "Nevatim" airbase. According to Bagheri, the operation was "completely successful."

Bagheri also warned that Iran would respond "in kind" if Israel decides to attack "Iranian interests, officials, and civilians." Furthermore, he mentioned that Iran has warned the United States through Switzerland that American bases will become military targets if Washington supports Israel's retaliatory actions.

Previously, Iran had launched a massive attack on Israeli territory using drones and missiles, which was in response to the Israeli assault on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1.
