Elina Avanesyan Takes Break from Career Due to Illness
World No. 104, Armenian tennis player Elina Avanesyan has announced a break from her career due to mononucleosis, as revealed in a social media post. The diagnosis was made in March of this year. Avanesyan has also faced wrist and shoulder injuries throughout the year.
She expressed her gratitude to those who have supported her during this challenging time.
