Zahharova on Relations with Armenia and the 'Trump Route'

Russia expects to continue dialogue with Armenia in the context of unblocking communications. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, while commenting on the 'Trump Route.'

According to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, a true understanding of how the project will operate is only possible after examining its details.

'It is also necessary to consider a number of additional factors. Armenia is part of the EAEU's unified customs territory. The subsidiary of 'Russian Railways', the 'South Caucasian Railway' company, manages Armenia's railway networks. Russian border guards maintain security along the border in the area where this route is expected to pass,' she added.
