Lawyer Claims Arrest of ‘Honor of Duty’ Bloc Candidate is Political Persecution

Lawyer Gayane Papoyan reported: “Dear citizens, I inform you that moments ago the candidate for deputy from the ‘Honor of Duty’ bloc, Ruben Khlghatyan, has been arrested. We declare that the arrest carries an exclusively political persecution tint. The entire situation is fabricated and illegal. Its purpose is to hinder the political activities of the ‘Honor of Duty’ bloc before the elections.”

Defense lawyers of R. Khlghatyan include Gayane Papoyan and Arsen Sardaryan,” she noted.
