Criminal Figure Chaag Rustam Greets Pashinyan in Dashtadem

The pre-election campaign of the "Civil Contract" party continues in the Aragatsotn region. The latest stop was in the village of Dashtadem.

Here, it was Rustam Stepanyan, known as Chaag Rustam, with a criminal past, who was the first to greet Nikol Pashinyan and shake his hand. This is reported by Yerkir.am.

According to circulating media rumors, after the disgraceful capitulation statement on November 9, Rustam Stepanyan was among the defenders of Nikol Pashinyan. He was brought to the government summer residence by MP Hayk Sargsyan.

Hayk Sargsyan has close ties with Rustam Stepanyan, who was wanted by Russian authorities as early as 2016 for kidnapping and murder. One of the most notorious incidents involving Sargsyan and Stepanyan was the gunfire in Tsaghkadzor on April 4, 2021. Moreover, on June 1, police in Yerevan thwarted a 'razborka,' during which Rustam was among the 20 detained individuals.
