I Ate, and an Hour Later I Felt Unwell: Nikol Pashinyan
“After becoming Prime Minister, it was May or June of 2018, I went to the frontline. I opened the food supplies and said: ‘Bring this, this, and this.’ They brought it and I ate that food. I’m not really a picky eater, but an hour later I felt unwell,” said Nikol Pashinyan, the candidate for Prime Minister from the Civil Contract party, during a meeting with residents of Odzun while discussing the topic of food in the army.
“A soldier must be on duty for two hours at the highest level of alertness, and that food affects their combat readiness,” he added. He also touched upon the work done during their administration regarding food in the military.
