Polish Soldiers to Deploy to Ukraine to Learn Drone Destruction Skills: Polish Prime Minister
Polish soldiers will be deploying to Ukraine to learn skills for destroying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This announcement was made by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk following a meeting of the National Security Council, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“I gladly accepted President Zelensky's proposal. We are already discussing technical matters,” said Tusk in response to a question about Polish military personnel studying Ukrainian experience.
He clarified that the Polish Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs are being sent to Kyiv to organize such training.
On Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced after meeting with his Finnish counterpart Alexander Stubb that Kyiv is ready to offer assistance to Warsaw in combating unmanned aerial vehicles and called for the creation of a unified air defense system.
