Germany to Send Fighters to Polish Border
Germany will send fighters to the border with Poland following an incident involving a drone, in order to expand air patrols of the country and Eastern Europe's airspace, reported The Wall Street Journal, citing a senior official.
According to the official, "Two Eurofighter jets have been dispatched to the border with Poland to strengthen air defense in Eastern Europe." It is noteworthy that on the morning of September 10, the operational command of the Polish army announced the destruction of several unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that violated Polish airspace.
