We Must Trade with Azerbaijan and Turkey, We’ve Survived for Decades Somehow: Qalumyan
We are now living in a time of peace, and I believe in the framed agreement, which is pre-signed; we must head towards the signing path. This was stated by QP MP Vahe Qalumyan in a conversation with journalists.
He noted that we need to close the chapter of enmity with our neighbors and start communication. “The basis for unblocking roads and signing a peace agreement is trade and communication. Our state has existed for decades in isolation without roads, barely surviving, and now there is an opportunity for us to communicate and trade with our neighbors. We must set aside enmity and establish neighborly relations and trade with them,” Qalumyan said.
According to him, nothing is guaranteed regarding security now; there will be problems that need to be solved, but the best solution is to proceed with opening the roads and ultimately signing the agreement with Azerbaijan.
