Details on the Robbery Incident Involving Three Individuals in Vanadzor

The investigative department of the Lori regional investigative committee has completed its preliminary investigation concerning a robbery incident involving three individuals.

During the investigation, A.A. and G.M. were subjected to public criminal prosecution under Article 252, Part 3, Clause 2 (robbery) and Article 335, Part 1 (illegal circulation of firearms, their main components, military ammunition, and other materials, devices, or objects) of the Criminal Code. T.U. and G.P. faced public criminal prosecution for aiding and abetting in the robbery under Article 46-252, Part 3, Clause 2. Detention has been applied as a measure of restraint for A.A., T.U., and G.P., while G.M. is subject to arrest and declared wanted.

The criminal proceedings against the three individuals were sent to the supervising prosecutor with an accusatory conclusion.

It is notable that the preliminary investigation initiated by the Lori regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee resulted in gathered evidence during the investigative activities, as well as planned and consistent work carried out in conjunction with the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On March 14, 2025, two individuals unlawfully entered the residence of K.B., a resident of Vanadzor, threatening her and her minor child with pistols. They demanded gold jewelry and money, after which K.B. took seven pieces of gold jewelry from her bedroom and handed them over to the assailants.
