17-Year-Old Russian Hockey Player Dies from Tick Bite
Russian hockey player Yevgeny Khvalko has died at the age of 17 from a tick bite. This was reported by Kommersant.
After several weeks of fighting for his life, the young player succumbed to complications arising from tick-borne encephalitis.
Seventeen-year-old Khvalko was the son of former hockey player and Kuzbass club coach Yevgeny Khvalko.
