All State Bodies Will Rent Out Their Real Estate Properties
The National Assembly of Armenia accepted in the first reading a package of legislative amendments establishing that all state bodies and organizations must return properties granted for use without charge, subsequently receiving them on a rental basis.
The package, which includes amendments to the law on 'State Non-Commercial Organizations,' was approved with 63 votes in favor, 26 against, and 7 abstentions.
A deadline has been set for all state bodies and organizations to return their properties granted for free use by the end of 2027, with the condition of formalizing them through rental agreements.
According to the government, this reform will ensure greater transparency in budgetary expenditures and significantly enhance the effectiveness of property management.
