Russia Has No Plans to Strike Any Objects on Polish Territory - Defense Ministry
Russia has no plans to strike any objects on Polish territory. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the agency, the range of the drones allegedly crossing the Polish border does not exceed 700 kilometers: “The maximum range of flight for Russian UAVs used during strikes, which supposedly crossed the border with Poland, does not exceed 700 kilometers,” the Russian military agency stated on its Telegram channel.
The Russian Defense Ministry added that it is ready to hold consultations with the Polish Ministry of Defense.
According to the Polish side, 19 Russian drones violated the country’s airspace during the night. Some of the drones were destroyed by Poland. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk referred to this as a possible “large-scale provocation,” noting that it is the first time Russian drones have been shot down in a NATO member country.
