Netanyahu Threatens Yemen with New Strikes
Israel will continue to strike targets of the Houthi rebels, part of the 'Ansar Allah' movement operating in Yemen. This was stated in a press release from the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Referring to the recent strikes in Yemen, Netanyahu reminded that days ago, Israel carried out a targeted attack on the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, resulting in the deaths of most members of the Houthi-controlled government in the eastern part of the country.
In response, the Houthis attacked the Ramon Airport near the city of Eilat in southern Israel with a drone on September 8, injuring several people.
“However, this does not diminish our determination. Today we again struck their terrorist facilities, targeting numerous bases with terrorists as well as other targets. We will continue to strike,” Netanyahu stated.
Eight casualties and at least 12 injured have been reported.
