Peskov Reveals How Putin Celebrates His Birthday

Russian President Vladimir Putin usually spends his birthday, celebrated on October 7, with family and meets with other state leaders, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced in an interview with TASS.

“Of course, like all people, he celebrates his birthday with close ones and acquaintances. However, as you know, his celebrations often have an 'official' character. That is, he uses that day for communication with colleagues and leaders of other countries. This happens quite often,” Peskov noted.

According to him, on October 7, Putin frequently meets with leaders of CIS countries, and many foreign leaders congratulate him by phone.
