Putin Congratulates the Union of Armenians in Russia on its 25th Anniversary
Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent a message to participants and guests of the ceremonial events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Union of Armenians in Russia (UAR).
“Thanks to your organization’s efforts, significant cultural, educational, and enlightening projects are being implemented, and important initiatives are being realized in the realms of youth policy and patriotic education for the rising generation,” the message published on the Kremlin's website states.
Putin added that over the years, the Union of Armenians in Russia has united Armenian communities across the country. According to him, the organization's multifaceted and in-demand activities, along with effective dialogue with state authorities, have significantly enhanced the union's reputation.
He also emphasized the UAR's persistent work aimed at the harmonious development of interethnic relations and the integration of the Armenian diaspora into Russian society. Additionally, he addressed the support the union provides to participants of the special military operation, veterans, and their families and relatives.
“I am confident that the current ceremonial events will be held at a high level and will launch new promising ideas and initiatives. I wish you success,” he concluded.
The ceremonial evening dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Union of Armenians in Russia and the “Agreement” international awards ceremony will take place on September 7 at the State Palace of the Kremlin in Moscow.
