The Delegation Led by Zhanna Andreasian is on an Official Visit to Iran
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasian, is on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran from September 6 to 8. During the visit, the Minister met with the Governor of Fars Province, Hossein Ali Amiri, in the city of Shiraz.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Arthur Martirosyan, and the Ambassador of Armenia to Iran, Grigor Hakobyan. The Minister expressed gratitude to the governor for the warm reception and effective cooperation, highlighting the special importance of the historically established friendly relations between Armenia and Iran.
Zhanna Andreasian also expressed confidence that the recent visit to Armenia by the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, and his delegation would contribute to strengthening bilateral ties and developing cooperation.
During the meeting, the concert scheduled to take place today at the Persepolis complex was emphasized, which is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. Minister Zhanna Andreasian noted that the event is of exceptional significance, not only for the promotion of Armenia's cultural heritage but also for deepening the friendly relations between Armenia and Iran. She thanked the Governor of Fars Province for his support in ensuring a high level of organization for the concert.
