Fico Ready to Share Slovakia’s EU Accession Experience with Ukraine

The Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, has announced that his country supports Ukraine's accession to the European Union and is ready to share its experience in obtaining membership.

As reported by 'European Pravda', he made this statement on Friday during a press conference in Uzhhorod alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Fico expressed his hope that Ukraine will have a 'good European perspective'. 'Of course, EU membership is linked to a complex process that must be completed. I offered Mr. President the entire experience of the Slovak government,' stated the Slovak Prime Minister.

According to him, Slovakia made 'many fateful mistakes' ahead of the accession process. 'If we hadn't made them, our positions in the European Union could have been stronger than they are now,' Fico added.
