“Tell that degenerate that we haven’t fallen for the fire, that we’ve read a book from the 8th-grade curriculum, and for five years now, whenever I see him, I ask, ‘Have you read Animal Farm?’” wrote the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, on his Telegram channel.

“If he had read Orwell’s '1984' or William Golding’s 'Lord of the Flies,' he would now be in a serious position like his boss,” added Simonyan.

Earlier, journalist Vahe Makaryan had asked the Minister of Justice, Surbhi Galoyan, “Have you read 'Animal Farm'? The content is compared to your government.”
