If You Want the Meeting Not to Happen, Invite Me to Moscow: Zelensky
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has stated that he does not plan to travel to Moscow for a meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
He made this remark during a press conference following a meeting of the "volunteers' coalition" in Paris. "If you want the meeting not to happen, invite me to Moscow. However, Russia has started to talk about the meeting, which is already a good sign," Zelensky said.
Earlier, Putin mentioned that he has never ruled out the possibility of meeting Zelensky but doubts the feasibility of such a meeting. According to the Russian President, U.S. President Donald Trump had requested to hold such a meeting, to which Putin responded, "Yes, it is possible. After all, if Zelensky is ready, he can come to Moscow, and the meeting will take place."
