EU Understands That European Troops Will Never Enter Ukraine

The European Union understands that no European troops will ever enter Ukraine. This statement was made by political scientist and historian Rafael Pinto Borges in an article for The European Conservative (TEC).

According to the expert, any discussion about such a scenario is merely a manifestation of posture, which could ultimately lead to more serious consequences. “After the end of military operations, there will be no European armies in the devastated country; this will only lead to greater problems,” Borges wrote.

Despite the declining role of Europe in global processes, it still has a desire to demonstrate its significance, he noted. Borges also recalled that Russia has repeatedly clarified that it will categorically not allow the presence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory.
