Attempts to Recognize the State of Palestine are Fake: Rubio
The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has released a statement asserting that Palestine's autonomy pays individuals to kill Israelis, emphasizing that attempts to recognize the state of Palestine are fake and will lead to serious consequences.
According to him, such actions could provoke a response from Israel and complicate the process of reaching a ceasefire. Rubio noted that some countries continue to promote the idea of recognizing the state of Palestine, which he believes is merely an 'illusion.'
He highlighted that the war in Gaza could end at any moment if Hamas surrenders, disarms, and frees hostages, but the organization refuses to take these steps. The U.S. Secretary also added that discussions regarding potential annexation of Judea and Samaria are still ongoing, and no final decisions have been made on these matters.
He warned that recognizing the state of Palestine 'will not lead to its creation' and will become an obstacle to achieving peace.
