Zelensky Arrives in France

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in France for a meeting with the leaders of European countries that are part of the "volunteers' coalition." This was reported by the "Strana" Telegram channel.

Previously, former German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that the meeting would take place via video conference. According to Merz, the main topic of discussion will be related to questions concerning security guarantees for Ukraine and further support.

The German Chancellor emphasized that the "most important guarantee of security" for Ukraine is sufficient support for its military. As noted by Merz, the "volunteers' coalition" intends to continue providing assistance to the Ukrainian armed forces. He also mentioned that military support for Kyiv is more likely to fall under the authority of the "volunteers' coalition" rather than that of the entire European Union (EU).

It has been previously reported that the "volunteers' coalition" may reconsider its stance on a ceasefire due to the influence of U.S. President Donald Trump.
