The outgoing Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has left the Prime Minister's residence at Downing Street with his wife, Carrie Johnson. Before that, he delivered his final speech as the country's leader, announcing his support for Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, who will succeed him as Prime Minister.

Johnson urged the Conservatives to set aside their differences and unite. Last week, Truss was elected as the leader of the UK Conservative Party and will assume the role of Prime Minister on Tuesday.
