Artsakh Information Headquarters on the Surrender of Ivanyan Community and Ajapnyak Neighborhood

The Artsakh Information Headquarters informs: “Dear compatriots, recently, there have been circulating rumors on social media claiming that there is an agreement with the Azerbaijani side to 'surrender' the Ivanyan community in the Askeran region and the Ajapnyak neighborhood of Stepanakert.

We inform you that such fake news and discussions have no connection with reality and are being spread by Azerbaijani intelligence services with the malicious intent of instilling panic among our citizens, as well as feelings of helplessness, desperation, and oppression, thereby breaking their will to live in their homeland.

The authorities of Artsakh are not conducting any negotiations regarding the 'surrender' of the Ivanyan community or the Ajapnyak neighborhood in the capital, or any other settlement in the Republic of Artsakh. On the contrary, they are working day and night to develop and implement long-term and fundamental solutions to improve the livelihoods of the residents of this and all other communities.

We urge you to refrain from spreading the aforementioned and any other type of misinformation, as doing so contributes to the implementation of enemy plans.”
