What Peace Is There in Artsakh: No Shots Fired, No Murderers, There Is Peace, but No Armenians - Minasian
His childhood dream will shatter like a glass crystal, and I am confident that he and his pathetic political team will find themselves not only in the political trash can but also in the appropriate correctional facilities. This statement was made by Artsvik Minasian, a member of the 'Hayastan' parliamentary faction, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, referring to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's remarks that in 2026, the people will send the current opposition to the political dustbin.
In response to the question of whether he thinks the public will follow the path indicated by the authorities toward peace and choose the 'Civil Contract' party again, Minasian stated, 'But there is no peace there; it is a false thesis. Look at what peace is there in Artsakh; is there peace? No, there are no shots fired, no murderers; there is peace, but no Armenians.'
According to the MP, the current national opposition is the one seeking peace the most. 'The national opposition desires peace more earnestly and quickly, but that peace must be based on the respect for your nation, on the principle of the right of your nation to live, and the implementation of the entire international framework on this principle—not just the wishes and statements of the current government.'
Minasian insisted that today the overwhelming majority of the people completely reject them.
