Turkey's Vice President on Azerbaijan-Armenia Relations

Turkey's Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz met with Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Anar Aliev. Yılmaz referred to the meeting in a post on his X microblog, noting that they are pleased that cooperation with Azerbaijan is being further strengthened through joint commission meetings, as reported by Ermenihaber.

Additionally, he mentioned that the recently signed declaration (referring to the declaration signed in the occupied Shushi) opens new horizons for bilateral relations raised to an alliance level. “New horizons are opening in areas such as the economy, social policy, and regional cooperation,” he added.

Turkey's Vice President described the events of August 8 in Washington as a historic step, stating that hopes for lasting peace and stability in the region have increased significantly since then. “We will continue to support the regional peace process and the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations,” Yılmaz concluded.
