Humanity Faces Choice Again: Peace or War, Says Xi Jinping

Humanity is once again faced with the choice between war and peace. This statement was made by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the start of a parade marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's resistance against Japanese aggression and the global anti-fascist war.

“Today, humanity is again faced with a choice: peace or war, dialogue or confrontation, mutual benefit or a zero-sum game. The Chinese people are resolutely on the right side of history and the progress of human civilization, committed to the path of peaceful development, and are working with the peoples of the world to build a community with a shared future for humanity,” said the Chinese leader.
