Publication: Disturbance in Lower Echelons of Ministries Over Salary Disparity
The newspaper 'Publication' reports that a secret decision to 'double' the salaries of top management has caused a significant rift between the elite and the lower echelons. After learning of this news, the lower levels have become inactive, feeling hurt and believing it is 'unjust' that they do all the work while receiving salaries equivalent to $300-400, while the inactive and unqualified deputy ministers and ministers receive salaries equivalent to $2,000-3,000 without contributing anything.
Directorate heads are particularly dissatisfied, arguing that there should not be a threefold difference between their remuneration and that of the chief executives. They have decided that if there is money for them, then there should be money for the lower ranks as well.
