Zelensky Announces Arrest of Suspect in Former Rada Chairman's Murder
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the arrest of a suspect in the murder of former Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy. According to him, the suspect has provided initial testimony.
Details about the identity of the arrested individual have not yet been disclosed.
“Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and the head of the Security Service Vasyl Maluk have just reported the arrest of the suspect in Andriy Parubiy’s murder on my social media page,” Zelensky stated. “All circumstances surrounding this horrific murder must be clarified,” he added.
It is worth noting that just days ago, former Rada Chair Andriy Parubiy was shot dead in Lviv. According to law enforcement, the shots were fired around noon, and Parubiy died at the scene from his injuries.
